Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

CELPIPrise is a CELPIP-style practice and test-prep service. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service and how we use it.

2. What we collect

• Account information — your email address and a hashed password (or third-party sign-in identifier) when you create an account.
• Practice content you submit — your written responses, multiple-choice answers, audio recordings, and timestamps for each attempt.
• Usage data — pages visited, actions taken, browser/device information, and approximate IP-derived location used for security and rate-limiting.
• Error data — when the Service hits a bug, we collect the error message, stack trace, and context (URL, browser version) to fix it. We do not deliberately collect personal information in error reports.

3. How we use your information

• to provide the Service (save your progress, score your attempts, play back your recordings);
• to improve the Service (anonymised aggregate analytics);
• to communicate with you about your account or important changes;
• to enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Where your data is stored

We use the following third-party processors. Each has its own privacy policy and security practices:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (your account, attempts, audio recordings, and images).
• Sentry (or equivalent error-tracking provider) — error reports and stack traces.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email support@celpiprise.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law (including PIPEDA for Canadian residents and GDPR for EU residents).

7. Data retention

We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice in the Service.
