About CelpipRise
CelpipRise is an independent practice site for the CELPIP-General test. It exists for one reason: most people who miss their target level are not short of English — they are short of practice in the exact format, with the exact timer, and feedback that says what to change. That is what the site is built to give.
What is on the site
- 690+ practice items across all 20 CELPIP task types — 40 sets for each of the six Listening parts, 40 for each of the four Reading parts, 40 Writing tasks of each type, and Speaking prompts for all eight tasks.
- Ten full-length mock exams in the official order, with no item shared between mocks.
- AI scoring for Writing and Speaking on the four criteria Paragon publishes, with notes that quote your own sentences, and band-labelled sample answers for the same prompt.
- Free guides for every part and task, and free practice sets you can start without an account.
How the practice content is built
Every item is written to a specification for its task type — part structure, question count, timing, audio-once rule, register — taken from the format Paragon publishes for the CELPIP-General test. Listening scripts are recorded so that the audio plays once with no replay, as on test day. Reading sets use the two-panel layout of the real screen. Answer positions are randomised across the whole library, and the library is audited for duplicates, answer-pattern leaks and format drift before new content goes live. None of the content is copied from official tests, and nothing here is an official CELPIP product.
How scoring works
Listening and Reading are marked exactly, and the raw score is converted to an estimated level using the table in our score chart. Writing and Speaking are rated by an AI marker against the four official criteria — Content/Coherence, Vocabulary, Readability or Listenability, and Task Fulfillment. Treat every level shown on the site as an estimate of your zone, not a prediction of an official result: Paragon equates each test form and does not publish its cut-offs.
