CELPIP test centres in Calgary: every location, sitting times and how to book
Every CELPIP test centre in Calgary with the address and area, the sitting times and volume in the September 2026 calendar, how far ahead to book, the nearest alternatives when it is full, and the fee.
Updated September 11, 2026
Calgary has four CELPIP test centres: three downtown along 6th and 9th Avenues, and one in the northeast on 25 Street. About 380 sittings were listed for the coming three months in September 2026, with sessions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fee is the national CAD $299 plus tax for CELPIP-General ($199 plus tax for General LS), and every booking goes through your celpip.ca account — the centres cannot register you.
CELPIP test centres in Calgary
| Centre | Address | Where it is |
|---|---|---|
| Precise Solutions Calgary | 115 9th Avenue SE (east entrance) / 225 Tower Centre, 2nd floor | Downtown east, near City Hall station |
| Global Village Calgary | 1200 – 700 6 Avenue SW | Downtown west, near 7th Street SW station |
| Bayswater Calgary (two rooms) | 840 6 Avenue SW, #100 | Downtown west, near 8th Street SW station |
| BITTS Testing Services – Calgary | 3424 25 Street NE | Northeast Calgary, near 32 Avenue NE |
Bayswater runs two testing rooms at the same address, which is why it appears twice in the booking calendar; a sold-out Room 1 often has seats in Room 2 at the same time.
Sittings, times and how far ahead to book
Precise Solutions and BITTS run morning sessions at 9 or 10 a.m. and afternoon sessions at 1:30 or 2:15 p.m.; Bayswater adds 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. sessions most weekdays. Individual sessions were sold out a few days ahead when checked, but the same day usually had space at another downtown centre. One to two weeks ahead is enough for a weekday; three for a Saturday.
If Calgary is full: the nearest alternatives
Calgary's four centres between them rarely leave a week without a date, so the practical alternative is a different centre on the same day rather than another city. Edmonton's centres are listed separately on celpip.ca and are a three-hour drive; Red Deer and Lethbridge candidates generally book Calgary.
Fee, ID and booking
Every Calgary centre charges the national fee — CAD $299 plus tax for CELPIP-General, $199 plus tax for General LS (celpip.ca, September 2026) — and none of them takes bookings: you register and pay in your celpip.ca account, choose the centre and sitting there, and receive the confirmation by email. Bring one original government-issued photo ID in exactly the name you registered with; a mismatch is the most common reason candidates are turned away at check-in. Transfers to another date or centre are made in the same account and carry a fee.
Before you sit it
The centre decides where you sit; the weeks before decide the level. Take one full-length mock first — it shows which of the four skills needs the time — then drill that skill with timed sets in the real format. Two sets in every Listening and Reading part and two prompts in every Writing and Speaking task are free, and a Calgary date two weeks out is enough time to use them.
Booked your date? Start with the free mock.
All twenty sections in the official order, with a level estimate per skill and criterion notes on your writing and speaking — so the next two weeks go where they are needed.
