CELPIP test centres in Toronto: every location, sitting times and how to book
Every CELPIP test centre in Toronto with the address and area, the sitting times and volume in the September 2026 calendar, how far ahead to book, the nearest alternatives when it is full, and the fee.
Updated September 11, 2026
Toronto has more CELPIP test centres than any other Canadian city — nine had sittings in the celpip.ca booking calendar for the next two weeks in September 2026, from the Hospital District to Downsview and Thornhill, and celpip.ca lists a few more besides. Every one is a Paragon-authorised centre, the fee is the national CAD $299 plus tax for CELPIP-General ($199 plus tax for General LS), and every booking goes through your celpip.ca account, never through the centre itself.

Sittings, times and how far ahead to book
Around 600 sittings were listed for the coming three months, which makes Toronto the easiest city in Canada to find a date. Most weekdays have a morning session starting between 9 and 10 a.m. and an afternoon session between 1:30 and 2:15 p.m.; the downtown centres run both. A date within one to two weeks is normal outside the busiest periods, which follow Express Entry draws and land in late spring and early fall. If your first-choice centre shows only afternoon sittings, check the one three stops down the line rather than waiting a week — the test is identical.
If Toronto is full: the nearest alternatives
Toronto rarely sells out, so the question is usually the reverse: Brampton and Mississauga candidates who find their local sittings gone can take a Toronto date. From Brampton GO, Union Station is about 40 minutes, and ILSC on University Avenue and Centre of English Studies on Elizabeth Street are a ten-minute walk from there. From the north, People Analytics at Yonge and Steeles saves the trip downtown.
Fee, ID and booking
Every Toronto centre charges the national fee — CAD $299 plus tax for CELPIP-General, $199 plus tax for General LS (celpip.ca, September 2026) — and none of them takes bookings: you register and pay in your celpip.ca account, choose the centre and sitting there, and receive the confirmation by email. Bring one original government-issued photo ID in exactly the name you registered with; a mismatch is the most common reason candidates are turned away at check-in. Transfers to another date or centre are made in the same account and carry a fee.
Before you sit it
The centre decides where you sit; the weeks before decide the level. Take one full-length mock first — it shows which of the four skills needs the time — then drill that skill with timed sets in the real format. Two sets in every Listening and Reading part and two prompts in every Writing and Speaking task are free, and a Toronto date two weeks out is enough time to use them.
Booked your date? Start with the free mock.
All twenty sections in the official order, with a level estimate per skill and criterion notes on your writing and speaking — so the next two weeks go where they are needed.
